SHIPMENTS

DELIVERY, TIMEFRAMES AND RATES

1. DELIVERY

Deliveries are handled by independent service providers. All parcels are trackable via a tracking number and may, at the buyer’s option, be delivered in person against signature.

In mainland France, deliveries are carried out by La Poste and Colissimo.
Within EU countries, deliveries are handled by La Poste and Colissimo Suivi Europe.
Deliveries outside the European Union are handled by international postal services.

For deliveries outside mainland France, the buyer agrees to pay all import-related charges, including customs duties, value-added tax (VAT), and any other taxes applicable under the laws of the destination country.

The risks associated with transportation are borne by the buyer. JACK & LINE PARIS shall not be held liable for any delay in delivery, loss, damage, or other incident occurring during shipment. Once the parcel has been handed over to and registered with the postal service, JACK & LINE PARIS’s responsibility ceases. For this reason, we recommend choosing insured delivery (against signature).

Upon receipt of the parcel, the buyer must inspect the goods before accepting delivery. In the event of visible damage upon delivery, the buyer must note any reservations on the delivery slip and confirm them to the carrier by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt within three (3) days of delivery, in accordance with Article L.133-3 of the French Commercial Code. The buyer must also notify JACK & LINE PARIS by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt of any transport-related damages within eight (8) days of receipt. Failure to comply with these formalities will render any claim inadmissible.

If the buyer has not received a tracked parcel within five (5) days and no delivery notice has been left, they are advised to check the parcel’s status on La Poste’s website.

Products are delivered together with the invoice to the address provided by the buyer on the order form. In the event of a delivery error resulting from an incorrect address supplied by the buyer, return and/or reshipment costs shall be borne by the buyer. If no recipient is present at delivery, a notice will be left, and the buyer may collect the parcel from their local post office upon presentation of valid identification.

JACK & LINE PARIS shall be released from its delivery obligations in the following cases:

  • Non-performance by the buyer of any of their obligations (e.g., payment, accuracy of personal information);

  • Occurrence of a force majeure event, such as war, riot, fire, strikes, accidents, or supply shortages.


2. DELIVERY TIMES

Delivery times are provided for information purposes only. They correspond to the average processing, preparation, and shipping times for orders. While every effort is made to ensure timely delivery, JACK & LINE PARIS assumes no binding commitment in this regard. International delivery times may vary. Delivery periods commence only once payment for the order has been received in full by JACK & LINE PARIS.

Orders are prepared Monday through Friday in the Paris region.
Certain items are made to order exclusively for the buyer; for these, the estimated dispatch time is between five (5) and ten (10) business days from receipt of payment. Business days exclude weekends and public holidays.

For made-to-order products, reasonable delivery delays shall not entitle the buyer to claim damages or cancel the order.

In all cases, the buyer may track their parcel’s delivery status on La Poste’s website.

In the event of delayed delivery, the buyer must notify JACK & LINE PARIS via email at contact@jacketline.fr. JACK & LINE PARIS will then contact La Poste to initiate an investigation (maximum duration: 21 days). If the product is located during the investigation, it will be reshipped immediately to the buyer’s address. If the product is not found after the 21-day period, La Poste will consider the parcel lost.

Failure by the buyer to raise any dispute within 30 days of the order date shall constitute confirmation of delivery; the goods shall be deemed received and accepted. It is therefore the buyer’s responsibility to raise any dispute within this period, particularly in cases of non-delivery, to enable proper verification. No claim of any kind shall be admissible after this confirmation or after the expiry of the above period. All disputes must be submitted via the contact form to be considered valid.


3. SHIPPING RATES

Shipping costs are borne by the customer and include packaging, handling, and postal fees.
Postage fees are calculated on a flat-rate basis depending on the destination country and parcel weight.

If the buyer wishes to insure their parcel against loss or theft, they may select the Colissimo with insurance option at checkout. In this case, the parcel will be sent with a signature requirement.

For international shipments and orders outside the European Union, customs duties may be claimed by the carrier upon delivery. Delivery times are provided as estimates in business days, starting from the date of dispatch (excluding workshop preparation time of 1 to 3 business days). Jack & Line Paris cannot be held responsible for delivery delays caused by the carrier. All shipments outside Metropolitan France are sent with signature required to ensure the security of your order.

RETURNS PROCESSING

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL AND REFUND POLICY

1. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

Pursuant to Article L121-20 of the French Consumer Code, when a product is purchased by an individual consumer from a professional seller, the buyer has a period of fourteen (14) business days from receipt of the goods to exercise their right of withdrawal without having to provide any justification and without incurring penalties, except for return shipping costs.

All returns must be subject to the prior approval of JACK & LINE PARIS and the issuance of a return authorization number.

To facilitate processing, the buyer is requested to send an email to contact@jacketline.fr indicating the order number, and to return the item together with the invoice to the following address:

2. REFUND POLICY

Products must be returned in their original packaging and must not show any signs of wear, use, or damage, however minor. Damaged or incomplete items will not be accepted for return.

Important: Returned items must be unworn, undamaged, and in their original packaging.

Return shipping costs and the associated transport risks are borne by the buyer. The buyer is therefore advised to retain proof of shipment.

Once your return has been received and inspected, you will receive an email notification confirming receipt of your returned item and informing you of the approval or rejection of your refund request.

If approved, the refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be issued to your original method of payment within a few days.
